🤝 Community Guidelines

TownyAge is a community as much as it is a Minecraft server.

You don't have to be best friends with everyone you meet, but we do ask everyone to help make the server a place where people can relax, build, explore, and have fun together.

💜 Be Good to Each Other

Treat the people behind the usernames like people.

Joking around, friendly competition, disagreements, and a little chaos are all part of playing together. Just pay attention to when something stops being fun for the other person.

Respect people's boundaries and give each other some room when needed.

🏘️ Be a Good Neighbor

The survival worlds are shared spaces.

Be considerate when building near other players and towns, and avoid deliberately interfering with someone else's space or projects.

If you're unsure whether you're too close to another player's build, talking to them first can prevent a lot of problems later.

💬 Read the Room

TownyAge doesn't require every conversation to be completely family-friendly. Swearing and casual adult conversation are okay.

That doesn't mean every topic belongs everywhere.

Pay attention to the people you're talking with, respect boundaries, and move conversations to a more appropriate place when necessary.

🧭 Use the Right Channels

The Discord has different channels for different types of conversations.

Keeping questions, social conversations, support issues, and other discussions in the appropriate places makes it easier for everyone to find what they're looking for.

For Minecraft questions, #game-help is a great place to start.

🐛 Help Us Fix Problems

If you find a bug, broken feature, exploit, or something else that doesn't seem right, we'd rather know about it.

Don't abuse an issue just because the server technically lets you do it.

Report problems to staff so we can investigate and fix them.

🌱 Help Build the Community

You don't need to be a staff member or a server expert to contribute.

Answer a question if you know the answer. Welcome somebody new. Share what you've built. Join a town. Start one. Help someone who looks hopelessly lost at Spawn.

Small interactions are what turn a Minecraft server into a community.
