🛟 Help & Support

Need help? There are a few different ways to get answers depending on what you need.

💬 Game Help

For general Minecraft or TownyAge questions, check out #game-help in Discord.

This is a community help channel, so both staff and other players can help answer questions.

It's a great place for things like:

  • How a server feature works
  • Finding a command
  • Questions about Towny
  • Gameplay questions
  • Help understanding something in the wiki

Someone else may have had the exact same question!

🎫 Support Tickets

If you need help directly from staff, use the #tickets channel in Discord.

Click the option to create a ticket and you'll receive a private space where you can talk with the staff team.

Tickets are a better choice for things that shouldn't be handled in a public channel, including:

  • Reporting another player
  • Reporting an exploit or serious bug
  • Moderation questions
  • Discussing a warning or punishment
  • Issues involving your account
  • Problems that require staff intervention
  • Anything you'd rather discuss privately

🐛 Reporting a Problem

When reporting a problem, include as much useful information as you can.

Depending on the issue, this might include:

  • What happened
  • Where it happened
  • When it happened
  • Player names involved
  • Screenshots or video
  • Coordinates
  • Any error messages you received

You don't need to have all of this information to ask for help, but additional details can make it much easier to figure out what happened.

🛡️ Moderation Questions

If you have a question or concern about a moderation decision, please create a ticket rather than arguing about it in public chat.

A ticket gives both you and staff a better place to review what happened and discuss the situation.

👋 Community & Social Channels

Not everything needs a support ticket!

The TownyAge Discord also has social channels where you can hang out, talk with other players, share things, and participate in the community.

Use #game-help when you have a general gameplay question and #tickets when you specifically need staff assistance.

When in doubt, asking for help is always okay.
